Memories of Greece Chicken Meatballs
Feta cheese is hip again!
With the recent TikTok craze over a baked tomato and feta pasta dish, there seems to be a renewed interest in cooking with this very traditional Greek cheese.
And why not, I mean it’s fantastic on so much more than just a Greek salad.
Of course, now folks out there are putting it on everything! LOL
Including meatballs….
Now, I’ve been making meatballs for many years, but I must admit that I never thought of adding feta cheese to the mix.
Well, I had to try it. And I absolutely loved the results.
So today I’m sharing with you my go to, tried and true chicken meatball recipe, now newly improved with the addition of some crumbled feta.
Pretty sure I’ll be making them this way from now on. They are a hit!
For those of you who are still reading this post, despite the fact that you hate feta cheese (or maybe even ground chicken), I thank you for staying with me, you are amazing and must be rewarded….
Guess what? You can totally still use this recipe and make some pretty tasty chicken meatballs…minus the feta ( after all I did it for many years LOL). If ground chicken makes your stomach turn (some people just can’t stand the look of it), just use ground beef or pork. Both work very well and your meatballs will be just as awesome.
Prepare a batch for lunch, dinner or as an appetizer.
Easy.
Delicious.
Go make some.

These meatballs sound delicious and I love that I can easily make them gluten free by subbing in gf breadcrumbs. Btw, I’ve never had anything made with ground chicken that isn’t absolutely delicious or anything with feta for that matter. 🙂

I agree, ground chicken works great in so many ways, and seriously the Feta makes everything delish! Thanks for dropping in and taking time to leave a comment.
